On the set of En Folkefiende

Nicolai Cleve Broch visits the Fjæreheia stage for the first time
In a short feature by Agderposten, Nicolai Cleve Broch visits the spectacular open-air stage at Fjæreheia, where Henrik Ibsen’s An Enemy of the People will premiere later this summer.
Seeing the venue for the first time, Nicolai admits he is filled with awe by its impressive setting—while joking that his fear of heights is the very first thing that comes to mind.
Although rehearsals have only just begun, he already describes An Enemy of the People as one of his favourite Ibsen plays. According to Nicolai, the play feels surprisingly relevant today and stands out because, unlike many people expect from Ibsen, it is direct, engaging and easy for audiences to follow.
When asked what audiences can expect, he smiles and admits that even the cast doesn’t know yet—the coming weeks of rehearsals will shape the final production.
